The Food & Nutrition Network (FNN) is a student-led organization open to all students with an interest in food, nutrition, and health. Grad Club is an organization of all interested Nutrition and Food Sciences graduate students. Our stated mission or purpose is "to promote nutrition awareness and healthful eating practices to the TWU, Denton and Dallas/Fort Worth communities." We meet monthly to hear guest speakers, plan service events and network.

Past speakers have included UNT Adjunct Instructor and former food service industry executive Joyce Duesman, the Assistant Director of Career Services, Sherri Williams, and the Assistant Director of Fitness and Recreation, Michelle Reeves.

Past service events have included a food drive to help stock the shelves of TWU's Food Pantry located in the Department of Social Work, a holiday gift basket project done to assist needy TWU families in preparing holiday meals, and hosting the NFS campus Holiday Party.

The goal is that class officers, now and in the future, will have the resources and the support from the students, faculty, and the university through this organization. Organize events that brings physical therapy students, their family, as well as the faculty together (with consideration of COVID-19 guidelines). These events may include: white coat ceremony, teacher appreciation, big and little reveal, and graduation celebration. Traditional events may need to be modified to use electronic streaming in order to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. Provide service and outreach opportunities to allow physical therapy students to engage in the community, gain hands on experience, and empower themselves to be a part of something bigger than themselves and this program. These service opportunities may include: volunteering at local non-profit clinics, food drives, habitat for humanity, etc. TWU student volunteers may need to be approved by site, and can participate in activities approved by the site. All activities with outside organizations must be approved by the TWU Faculty Advisor(s). Foster an environment that empowers physical therapy students to represent their class, faculty, and program on campus and within the community.

Mission
The mission of the WiCyS Student Chapter is to build a community that promotes women’s education, participation, and leadership in the field of cybersecurity. The chapter strives to decrease gender disparity, provide mentorship and networking opportunities, and recruit and retain women in the cybersecurity workforce through education and community engagement.

Membership Benefits
WiCyS Student Chapter members gain access to scholarships, internships, and job opportunities, along with leadership and technical skill development. Members can receive WiCyS-approved logos and badges for professional use, attend the annual WiCyS Conference, and connect with a global network of cybersecurity professionals and mentors.
