The purposes and goals of ASSET are to raise funds for the J. Wilkes Berry, Ph.D. Memorial Endowment Fund and the ASSET Scholarship to provide support for TWU staff persons employed and enrolled at the University during the corresponding semester(s) that the ASSET scholarship award is made. To encourage the career and personal development of its members through conferences, workshops, programs, and speakers. To provide an organization through which the TWU service and support staff can contribute positively to the academic and professional excellence of the University. To identify and develop service opportunities that will benefit TWU students, staff, faculty, and the community. To provide hardship relief, fellowship, and support to TWU staff.

Provide a forum for sharing the unique African cultural heritage. Provide a forum where African students can meet and discuss issues affecting Africa. Promote love, understanding, peace, unity, and cooperation among members of the organization. Provide a home for our incoming African Students. To promote cultural awareness, provide a voice/haven for the African student body, and provide knowledge to all students interested.

Art Club fosters a supportive community of TWU students through the creation and appreciation of visual art. Art Club offers a community for TWU students who enjoy visual art, regardless of major, background, or whether they create recreationally or professionally. Members have regular opportunities to create alongside others through open studios, prompts, and small challenges, as well as opportunities to share their work with others. The club also provides optional learning through peer demonstrations and workshops and helps connect students to campus involvement such as showcases, collaborations, and events that highlight student art.

Talk about 2 countries of Asia in every meeting or include an activity regarding asian cultures, participating in asian holidays.
