The Food & Nutrition Network (FNN) is a student-led organization open to all students with an interest in food, nutrition, and health. FNN focuses on building connections among students, faculty, and professionals in the field. Members gain access to leadership roles, professional development workshops, guest speaker events, community service opportunities, and affiliations with professional organizations. Each year, FNN also hosts the annual Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk, which raises funds to support the North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Step 1. Fill out a membership application (Google form). 
Step 2. Pay dues ($35 for the year OR $20 per semester) either through Venmo or Paypal. *Note:  full year  35$ package is only available in the fall AND includes Free t-shirt! If you want to buy t-shirt separately, it is 10 dollars*

Step 4. Request membership through Pioneer Engage and FNN GroupMe (QR codes on the membership application). 

Step 5. We will approve your requests after finalizing your application and dues, and you will officially be a member of the Food and Nutrition Network!

The Investment Club aims to create a collaborative environment where members converge to discuss various facets of investments, from stock valuations, investment strategies, to portfolio management.

Members that attend our events have the benefit of receiving free food, beverages and snacks at each event. Members also have the chance to win a prize at our very last meeting of each semester. While also gaining knowledge about the stock market and creating new connections.

Grad Club is an organization of all interested Nutrition and Food Sciences graduate students. Our stated mission or purpose is "to promote nutrition awareness and healthful eating practices to the TWU, Denton and Dallas/Fort Worth communities." We meet monthly to hear guest speakers, plan service events and network.

Past speakers have included UNT Adjunct Instructor and former food service industry executive Joyce Duesman, the Assistant Director of Career Services, Sherri Williams, and the Assistant Director of Fitness and Recreation, Michelle Reeves.

Past service events have included a food drive to help stock the shelves of TWU's Food Pantry located in the Department of Social Work, a holiday gift basket project done to assist needy TWU families in preparing holiday meals, and hosting the NFS campus Holiday Party.

The mission of the Pre-Physical Therapy Club is to support and prepare students pursuing a career in physical therapy by providing academic resources, professional development, hands-on experiences, and mentorship opportunities. Our goal is to build a community where members can grow as future healthcare leaders through education, service, and collaboration.

Joining the Pre-PT Club provides opportunities to learn from guest speakers, gain advice on GRE and DPT applications, and connect with physical therapists for shadowing hours. Members benefit from networking with peers, alumni, and professionals, as well as mentorship from upperclassmen or DPT students. The club also offers hands-on workshops, volunteer opportunities, and chances to attend state or national conferences. In addition, students can take on leadership roles to strengthen their resumes while enjoying social events, study groups, and a supportive community of future physical therapists.

This Organization's purpose is to support all TWU students interested in applying to the dental hygiene programs by providing them with a sense of community among first-year, second-year, and transfer students. We are committed to supporting students aspiring to pursue a career in dental hygiene.

This Organization's purpose is to support all TWU students interested in applying to Dental hygiene programs by providing them with a sense of community within all pre-dental hygiene majors, informational meetings over the hygiene program and career, assist with the pre-requisite courses, and studying for the HESI exam.
