Dr. Elizabeth Brownlow, an alumna of TWU, supports our community in reimagining the potential of their work to have public impact, building on academics’ unique skills and experiences to become thought leaders contributing to community wellbeing. With a background in fostering public and community-engaged humanities scholarship, and experience driving nonprofit communications strategy, she has a deep belief in the potential (and the need) for scholars to connect their important knowledge to the world around them and contribute to public good. She creates and facilitates public-facing communications programming, coaches folks one-on-one in developing thought leadership skills and teaching, and collaborates with various units across campus to support students in developing skills and experiences that demonstrate the impact of their academic activities and prepare them to enter the workforce.
