Details

The Xi Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, proudly welcomes new members in a ceremony celebrating academic excellence and dedication to the study of the Spanish language, literature, and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
During the induction, students pledge to uphold the society’s ideals—honor, respect, and the pursuit of knowledge—and are officially recognized for their achievements in Hispanic studies. The ceremony includes the reading of the society’s motto, the presentation of certificates and insignia, and a moment of reflection on the importance of linguistic and cultural understanding in our global community.
This special event brings together students, faculty, and guests to honor the accomplishments of those who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship and a deep appreciation for Hispanic heritage and culture.
