To promote and stimulate interest in occupational therapy among students and the community; to further develop the social life of the members of the TWU SOTA; to serve the community through outreach programs; to provide a forum for discussion between students and staff members on the education goals, policies, and problems within the school as they relate to student education and affairs; to maintain communication with other occupational therapy students in the state and across the nation which will come from active involvement in the student committee of AOTA; and to facilitate communication between the members of TWU SOTA on the Dallas, Denton, and Houston centers.
