Pioneer Council strives to bring together a sense of community for students at Texas Woman's University. As well as to create opportunities to give back to the local community both in and outside of campus. Through this organization, the Pioneer Council would like to bring several volunteer opportunities for students to learn, grow, and help the community. The Pioneer Council would also like for an organization on campus to represent the Hispanic/Latino community.
Members will be exposed to a community that advocates for the equality of the Hispanic/Latino population. Through this community, members can explore professional, cultural, travel and social opportunites. Additionally, Pioneer Council is part of the national organization LULAC, with interaction from Dsitrict and State boards.
