Welcome Back!
Pioneers, we hope your spring semester has been off to a great start. We are excited to begin SGA meetings next week! Below is a detailed schedule of meetings and some other important updates. In the event of inclement weather, LT will send out any cancellations.
Calendar~
Monday, January 26th: Executive Branch- FLOC (5:00 PM-6:00 PM)
Tuesday, January 27th: Legislative Branch- Senate (4:00 PM- 5:30 PM)
Wednesday, January 28th: Executive Branch- General Assembly (5:00 PM- 6:00 PM)
Thursday, January 29th: Judicial Branch- Supreme Court & Elections Commission (5:00 PM- 6:00 PM)
Point System~
There will be no point requirements for the month of January. During member meetings, LT will discuss the point system and a new way to upload, so members can see how many points they already have! Point opportunities for February will be posted at the end of January.
Attendance Policy~
Every semester, the attendance policy renews. This means that each member has 3 available absences before removal for SP26. If a member had 2 absences during FA25, those absences will not be carried over into the current semester. Contact an LT member with any questions.
Campus Elections~
This will be discussed further during next week's meetings. If you are interested in continuing your role in SGA, we highly recommend running in Campus Elections. This is a great opporunity to expand your leadership and involvement. Contact our Elections Commissioner, Janjay, at ec@twu.edu for more details or click the box at the end of the message to learn more.
