Mission
The purpose of LISTA is to empower student leaders to learn medical terminology in Spanish to better connect with patients as it relates to inclusive healthcare. This is possible through dynamic education on current events and culture, networking with the hispanic patient population and other Spanish speakers of all levels, and Spanish-English translation practice.
Membership: $15 per semester or $25 for a year

Membership Benefits
- We educate both non-Spanish speakers and fluent hispanohablantes from the nursing, PT, and OT programs at TWU Dallas (interdisciplinary).

- Spanish medical interpreting prepares students to interact with a diverse demographic population in the healthcare setting.
